Covid19 Safety

As Priority Fitness opens its studio doors again for the first time since the March shutdown, we have taken the time to put several safety measures in place to ensure the health and well-being of our fitness community and our surrounding community.  Please review the following protocols below. These measures are required and/or suggested by the CDC, State, and City for Covid-19 infection prevention.

What We’re Doing

  1. One Session at a Time. For the foreseeable future  we will only hold one session at a time in the studio to reduce the number of people in the space. You get your own private studio to train in! If there are back to back sessions, we will need 3 minutes or so to sanitize the studio between sessions.

  2. Temperature Checks.  We will use an infrared thermometer to check your temperature when you enter the studio.  If your temperature is above 100.4 you will unfortunately not be allowed to train and asked to leave.

  3. Filtering and Sanitizing the Air in the Studio.  We now have a medical grade HEPA13 air purifier and are using a disinfecting fogger machine between sessions.

  4. Sanitizing Between Sessions.  In addition to the fogger machine (see above), we will disinfect all used machines between sessions with EPA approved disinfectant.

  5. We will provide Masks and Hand Sanitizer.  All sessions will require masks both for the trainer and trainee at all times. We ask that you bring your own mask. We will provide surgical masks to all people who need one.  We will also have performance masks for sale in the studio.

  6. No Contact Training. There will be no contact between trainers and trainees during training sessions.  We are placing stickers on the floor for a visual reminder of keeping six feet of distance.

What We Need You To Do

  1. Sign Our Covid-19 Waiver Agreement.  Before your first session, you will need to sign a Covid-19 waiver agreement. If you'd like to be sent an agreement to sign digitally please request by clicking the icon

  2. Water Bottle, Towel, Mat. We encourage you to bring your own water bottle, towel and mat to your session.  You are welcome to fill up your water bottle at the studio if needed. We will provide a clean yoga mat if needed.

  3. Show Up on Time (and not early).  We are limiting the number of people in the studio at the same time. If you show up early we ask that you wait outside until your session is ready to start.

  4. Wear a Mask. You will need to wear a mask for the entirety of the time you are in the studio.  If you don’t have one with you, we will provide you with a surgical mask. We will also have performance masks for sale.

  5. Wash your hands. Please wash your hands before beginning your session.

  6. If You’re Feeling Sick, Stay Home.  Please be sure to let us know if you need to cancel.

What’s On Pause

  1. Showers. For the time being we will not allow showers in the studio.

  2. Cardio Machines.  For the time being we will not allow anyone to use the cardio machines (treadmill, stationary bike, elliptical) in the studio. Your trainer will guide you through a warm up on the main floor
